GDPR legislation - how we are protecting your data
The legislation which came into effect on May 25th 2018 has had a great impact on all businesses large and small and this page details how we endeavour to protect your data in accordance with these regulations. Your data is not kept by us for longer than is necessary, or used for any other purpose than to fulfil orders and information requests, as initiated by you. Your data is kept offline and separate, so should a data breach occur - the damage and loss of data is kept to a minimum.
Where possible we utilise 3rd party software to ensure our data satisfies stringent testing. When you make a payment via our online gateway you switch over to the Worldpay secure servers, and they process your data to process the payment. These details are not seen or stored by us. We take any breach of this data very seriously and it is company policy to work with legislation to our fullest ability.
Cookies
When using this website we apply 2 types of cookies. One allows us to collect anonymous data from our visitors which allows us to see which pages are visited, how long pages and visited for and other general information that allows us to improve our website based on how our visitors are using our website.
To enable us to do this we use Google Analytics tracking code. All data collected by these cookies is held by Google and staff at Harberson Ltd have no access to it. It cannot be used to identify specific users or obtained illegally for further use by Harberson or any employee of the company.
The second type of cookie that we use allows us to store the data that is necessary to allow visitors to use the basket functionality and place orders on our website. Once orders have been placed on our website this information is entered into our accounting software to allow us to provide invoices and accounting records. Your company and contact information are stored in-house and not kept on servers externally from our building. We collect no other data than the information submitted by visitors allowing us to invoice and deliver to the correct address and supply the desired products.
Personal data submitted onto our website is stored safely and disposed of when no longer deemed necessary for records to be kept. Once you have submitted your details to us, only employees fulfilling orders have access to your data.
This data is not supplied to any other members of the company who are not involved in the order processing and delivering process.

Using Worldpay to make payments
All payments are processed via Worldpay. Online payments are made on the Worldpay secure server. Card details are not retained by Harberson, or available to view by any Harberson staff. Card payments made over the telephone are processed on the Worldpay virtual terminal during the phone call. Card details are not written down or stored at Harberson and cannot be re-used without the card owner re-supplying the card details.
Using email to contact us
When placing an order with us or contacting us via email to obtain a quote or for any other business purposes these emails are kept until it is deemed no longer necessary. For repeat orders this allows us to keep details of your requests available, allowing us to easily repeat orders for you and find and use old artwork and proofs as required by our customers. This data is kept for no other reason.
It is not passed on to any third party companies or used for marketing.
